Adding one story at a time

I have many, many, many tales and histories in binders, on casette tapes, computer files, etc. I guess you could say that I keep chasing my tale 🙂
You may like to subscribe to my blog so you can see when updates are added here.
My stories about ancestors (especially those I knew personally) will most likely have a bias to my personal relationship with them. I would love to have you share additional stories and research you may have.

King Charles I of France

is also known as Charlemagne, and is a grandfather to many persons in our family tree. As a result we have many kings, queens, dukes, duchesses, etc. as grandparents and cousins.
There is no king who has not had a slave among his ancestors, and no slave who has not had a king among his.
